We set up History in the Making over a decade ago and work predominantly with green oak. We use traditional skills and craftsmanship and specialise in Medieval and Tudor periods. Simon has several years experience in the construction industry and a degree in building surveying. Lesley has a degree in costume design and still produces historical costumes, as part of the business, as well as helping Simon with the production of some of the smaller items. Together we work closely with our clients and we research traditional pieces in order to design and create bespoke furniture and structures.
