Timber Frame House At Avoncroft Open Air Museum

 A great deal of research is done from both primary secondary sources to ensure that all period and reproductions represent a facsimile of the original article.

We spend time in museums and historic houses taking detailed photographs and making notes.

We take every opportunity to examine original pieces for construction details.

Earlier pieces are researched from paintings and illuminated manuscripts.
